COMING BACK TO THE HEART OF WORSHIP

Are we leading lives of worship?

Here are 3 challenging quotes to get you thinking…

The real factor in worship is a heart desire for God; the reason it fails to occur in the pew is that it fails to occur in the daily routine of living” – Ronald Allen and Gordon Borror: Worship, rediscovering the missing jewel.

If Sunday for one hour is the only time we worship, no wonder we do it sloppily, haltingly, hastily and leave as hungry as we came” – Mark Buchanan: Your God is too safe

Louie Gigglio states in His book “The air I breathe” that “Every heart has a throne room
We see what is sat on the throne of our hearts when we trace our passions, what we spend the most thoughts, time, energy and money on. What is sat at the throne of your heart?

Worship is more than lip service, more than a Sunday service, it’s your life!

    Hi Mate,

    Hope you are well.
This is something that God has thumped on my heart for ages! Like you say ‘worship is 24/7, 365 days of a year” which i have become engrossed in! I got together with one of the leaders at church and put together a ’service’ entitled ‘The Heart of Worship’with some songs and various bits of teaching. We did at St Paul’s and have gone round to various churches to try and spread the word around! We even put it into some small booklets which we handed out too! Just wanted to share this with you and maybe we could use this service at one of your events? I have the booklet on Word too if you would like to have a look?
